  I don't understand computer illiteracy--it's strange. Danielle's dad is somewhat right that there is a conspiracy to eliminate online (and real-life) privacy, but he is trying to understand computers in the language and concepts of the mechanical sixties, not the digital late nineties. He's not letting me fix anything, so I guess he can deal with his shitty computer full of spyware.

  Tara! I can fix your blog and make it prettyfied and black. Just find me, I'll tell you how. But if you want to do it yourself, the hex value for black is 000000, and the hex value for white is FFFFFF, so basically change FFFFFF to 000000 in the right place and it'll work. Obviously you'll need to change one to black and one to white, so that your text is white and your background is black.   I'm at Danielle's house, waiting for her to show up. I have my ID now, I hope we can go get cigarettes! I'm wearing my "great american smokeout" sticker too, it'll be so funny. I love hypocrisy. And the world really is just one big joke. To think, people dedicating their lives to ending a problem with no end. And why is it even a problem? The only difference between the smokers and the nonsmokers is that to the smokers cigarettes are a habit and to the nonsmoker nazis it's a religion. ...

  I was reading Tara's blog, she's so cool! I wish I had enough time to read. I think I'm going to get Jean Baudrillard's The Illusion of the End with my allowance next week. It seems VERY interesting. And I really want his book Simulacra and Simulation. Evil lack of money. I loaned Tawna Invisible Monsters, I'm sure she'll love it. It's so postmodern. Molly lent me a book yesterday, I've been reading it, it's called Castle something...it's about if the Nazis and Japanese actually won World War II, it's quite interesting. ...
