blogging at work

It’s lunchtime, and nobody is here except for John, Jocelyn and me. They’re talking and I’m answering the phone and pretending to work. It’s some strange thing–on Tuesdays (no other day, just Tuesday) I only have about one hour of work to do. It’s because I hate doing the Neighbors page things the day that they are supposed to be done, so I stay a little extra on Monday to do them. I left after one and a half hours one day and the personnel lady Sacey sent me an e-mail saying that the state of California requires that I work at least two hours. So I can’t leave until one. I would finish the Community Calendar and ask Mike for something to do, but he’s at lunch and once I finish the Community Calendar then I really won’t have anything to do. At least with the Calendar pages all spread out it looks like I’m busily typing up something vitally important. Molly just called for Mike, but he was at lunch. OMG OMG OMG OMG someone called for Jennifer saying that Fahrenheit 9/11 is coming to theateres here Wednesday! EEK! EEK! Molly and I are so going. I’m not her student yet. And I doubt I’d be able to have a good Bush-bashing experience with anyone but Molly. It starts Wednesday at 1:25. As soon as I get paid I’m going to run down to the theatre and buying my ticket. I love you, Michael Moore. And not in that way.

I feel really bad blogging on company time, but Mike isn’t here so I can’t ask him for something to do. Poo. I’m so tempted to get the 3.4 GHz processor…but once you get past 3.0 GHz you’re paying about $100 more for only 400 MHz more. I mean, 3,000 MHz versus 3,400 MHz when one is a hundred dollars more. Screw that. God, I can’t wait to get paid. Computer, computer, computer, computer. Well, I shouldn’t feel bad not doing work on company time. Jocelyn and John aren’t doing work…oh yeah, they’re on lunch. Never mind. Around twelve this place just dies, and it’s hard to resist succumbing to the lethargy. It’s hard enough for me to not succumb to lethargy even when I’m not at work.

I GET PAID TOMORROW!!!!!!!!! EEK!!!!!!

I’m so happy. Well…I will be so happy. Someone called about an obituary that they e-mailed in, I need to remember to tell Matt. Okay, I don’t have anything else to say. Must post.
