essay

I got off work early so I could do some work on my essay. I’ve tentatively decided to analyze setting in Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Masque of the Red Death.” It seems to me to be the most important element–the red room with black tapestries, the ebony clock, those are the most dramatic images. I re-read the story today and took some notes. I’ll have to stew on it for a few days before I come up with a thesis.

Weird. Some girl came by with a candle for Amanda. I know that Amanda doesn’t really believe in any of this Wicca stuff, she’s just trying to rebel against her parents and their patriarchal religion. It bores me how naive she is. I think I may have found a reason why my computer went into grayscale:

I dunno. I’m going to take a nap. I’m so tired.
