fear the apocalypse!

I shouldn’t blog in the morning when I’m supposed to be getting ready, but I just had to today. Mike will be back from his vacation today and will likely chew Jocelyn out for handing in her resignation. I’m going to try to make myself as scarce as possible, I’m going to hang out in the darkroom batcave and burn all the old stuff on the photo server onto CDs. At least that’s my plan. Perhaps today isn’t the best day to tell him that there’s no way in hell I’m going to get all the veterans stuff done. Hmm. Well, must get ready to go to school.

I’ve tried everything to get the grayscale to go away: reinstalling my monitor drivers, changing my color profile, everything short of reinstalling Windows, which I am feeling is the only friggin’ solution. It’s just such a pain in the ass, I have to install all my programs over again. Anus crap. I’m thinking that next time instead of installing an illegal copy of Office 2003 I’ll install this OEM copy of Microsoft Works that came with Montag (yes, it blows hard, but at least it’s legal) and see if the same thing happens. Oh, lol, I checked out the computers in the editing room last night (Sammie and Steve got pizza!) it was so grand…but anyway, I checked out those computers and they only had 1.53GHz processors and 512MB of ram. My computer has a 3.0GHz processor and I’m going to get another stick of ram, totaling 1GB of RAM. I’m going to reinstall Windows tomorrow (or today when I get home from school/work) and then install everything (including Premiere) and then get to editing. I’ll take some videos with the Drift digital camera and edit it. I think it will look swank, all pixelated and stuff. And my computer burns DVDs, so I can make my own pixelated movies! Double-swank. Crap! Must get ready for school! It’s 8:05. The good thing is I’m not feeling as sick today, I went to sleep early. I’m happy.

I just want to say for the record that yesterday didn’t suck as bad as you might have imagined from earlier posts. It started shitty, but ended with orgasmic pizza. Well, must go. Hasta la vista.
