I just worked for like three hours on my website, to no avail. I don’t know what I want it to look like. I should do some sketches.

the 2005-2006 FAFSA application has moved me to invent totally new insults to describe its total stupidity and pointlessness. My dad was looking at my pay stub and he says that they took much less money out of my checks than they should have. So I’ve committed tax fraud. That’s fun. But I was amazed to see that I’d earned close to $4,000 since I started my job. Oh well. I should check to see if dinner’s ready. My shoes are totally blackified, but it’s raining. I was picturing this sexy image of a muscled dude jogging through the rain…but that’s not me. I don’t have muscles. I would just get really cold, and possibly run over. OMG ! OMG! OMG ! OMG ! My cousin Kelly JUST BOUGHT A FEW MOVIES FOR $6.66!!!!!!!!! OMG! *spooge!* And I’m spent.

lame

I can’t open a savings account over the phone, they have to have my signature. I think that is rediculous. I can spend money with my ATM card by just typing in my PIN number. Shouldn’t it be that simple? They said they can send me paperwork, but that takes a week or two, but I dunno. I’m just going to go in there tomorrow and do it. I also have to dye my hair, I’ve been putting that off ever since I got the dye. And I have to figure out what classes I’m going to take. Gosh, it makes me sleepy just thinking about it all. I think I’m going to have a snack and then sit down and figure out what classes I’m going to take.

ho-hum

I wrote this last night (5:10 PM Jan. 4, 2005) but never proofread it. I still haven’t proofed it, but I don’t want to let it go to waste.

I just got off work, I had to do SOOO much stuff today. But I worked really hard and resisted the urge to not make any tea. If I don’t make tea, I don’t get anything done.

I succeded. I found the photo that wasn’t on the archive CDs. It was on a different server that we don’t really use any more. I’m in the Drift office now waiting for Molly. I guess I should start by looking at all the pages and seeing what has holes and such, but I’m famished. I don’t know how I got to it, but I went to Vonage’s website and I was looking at the unlimited long distance thing, it’s $24.99 a month for unlimited long distance. I bet my dad pays much more for just local service. I’m going to talk to him later in the week about trying it out. I would pay for the first month, and if we liked it, then I guess either he could pay it (since it would probably save him a bunch of money anyway) or we could split it, bringing my monthly Internet/phone bill to a nice even $30. That wouldn’t be so bad. And he could talk to his mommy as long as he wanted. And I could talk to Kelly and my mom as long as I wanted. I ended up blowing through about 500 phone card minutes due to making calls from pay phones, and I think I only have one left. I’m excited about this.

I wish Tawna was here, she said she’d be here. Or maybe that’s tomorrow. I should call her. Well, actually I shouldn’t. I committed to doing layout tonight, and that’s what I’m doing. Oh cool, she’s here. Let’s get started.

made my day

The lady from the quilt guild just sent me the nicest e-mail, we had been corresponding via e-mail about a class she had in the community calendar that had been cancelled.

“Thank you so much!!!! Talk about responsive newspapers!”

*smile*

I’m trying to get up the nerve to go over and make a savings account. I’d better do it today or I never will. I just picture how proud of myself I’ll be when I get home and log on to my online banking and have all that money all organized into two accounts, one named “My Loot” and the other “Escape to Sacramento Fund.”
