scouting for a new bank.
I have Econ at 6 something, and I am studying. Not really, but my expert skills of self-deception have informed me that searching for a new bank is research into the interaction of the labor and capital markets. I’m totally buying it. I’m searching for a bank that charges me no money for overdraft transfers from my savings account. Fuck Washington Mututal. All in all, they have probably charged me over eighty or so dollars to do something that costs them nothing (transfer money from my savings to my checking account). So I’m searching for a new bank. Current possibilities:
Tri Counties Bank - I had to email them about the fees, it didn’t say on their site (I was too lazy to wade through pages of lawyerspeak)
The Bank of America site had fees staring at $5 for the first time and peaking (two transfers later) at $35. No fucking wonder they are the biggest bank in the country.
US Bank - They charge a $5 per transaction fee…we’re getting closer to zero
hmm…I’m done. I looked at all the banks with branches in C.C. I’m hungry. I should make a sandwich or something and stop listening to Things Falling Apart.
