After I got off work (which pissed me off, but I don’t care to blog about it), I went to the college and there were Casey and Joe. We were all “Crap, we have to do our Econ tests” so I drove Casey to Castle Rock to get her school ID so we could get her CR ID so she could take the test. We watched the first half of the class we’d missed, then took the test. I think I did all right. After that we went to this strange antique store on Northcrest. They had this sexy antique red velvet sofa…omg it was so cool. And they had a transistor radio. Then we went to the Cinemas to play some hardcore DDR. We totally kicked these preppie freaks’ asses. We even kicked ass at Butterfly. Woot. Samantha and Steve and Tawna were there playing as well.
We got bored with that and went to Pebble Beach and climbed the big rock with the little island of shrubbery and grass at the top. It was beautiful. We saw all these blue jellyfish that had washed up–they really reeked. After we got back to the car we were hungry so we went to Jack in the Box and got curly fries and strawberry soda, then we went to Josh’s house to fix up some “fiesta rice” as I call it. Joe kept trying to get the wireless router to work, and Casey called her boyfriend. I guess they’re having problems. But anyway, while we were there Ben called and said he was off work and so I was all “Cool, we’re going to Gasquet to drop Casey off, want to come along?” and he was all “Sure!”
He arrived and we peeled Joe off the computer and we drove to Gasquet. It was pretty fun. After we got there, they all smoked a bit, but I didn’t, and then we said our goodbyes and me, Joe, and Ben headed back to Crescent Shitty. Ben hooked up the XBox and started playing Halo 2, and me and Joe made tortellini. Right about then Josh came home and we made a plate of tortillini for him too. We hung out there for a while, eventually getting the wireless router to work (it took forever). Then Selena came over and we kinda left after showing them the incredibly disturbing music video for Daft Punk’s “Technologic.” Me and Joe did a lap around the nature trail and then said our goodbyes. It was cool. Josh and Selena and everyone were going to watch a movie, but we skipped out early. I had to get some freaking sleep.
Well, I’ve accomplished two of the seven things I needed to do this week, but I have to add more to the list:
Write a page about the girl’s story
Watch the movie Susan lent me
Work on Matt’s website
get cleaning supplies for bathroom (the drain is plugged and I’ve started taking really short showers to somehow compensate)
Make website for Kelly’s photography.
Shit. I need to get some sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a bastard. I need to get a bunch of schoolwork/other people work done (I hate other people!).
But omg, I realized that after next month I’ll totally be able to afford my PowerBook with a big safety margin. W00t! And OS X is slated to ship in July! Cool! I couldn’t be happier.
