DDR and speech class 0

God, I really need to cut down on my DDR. I’ve been playing it about four times a day at least. Or I need to start stealing quarters from my dad. But anyway, my class starts in ten. I’m going to be bored out of my mind. I absolutely hate that class. Interesting, Amanda just walked in. Eh, I guess I can wait the next ten minutes in the classroom. If I had a laptop I could just blog in there, but noooo. Lame. As soon as I leave I’m heading over to the theatre with a quick stop at Josh’s house to see if he is back yet. We’re supposed to go out for dinner, but I hate eating out. It bores the shit out of me. Everything is boring except for DDR. Hey, I know…with my next paycheck I should get some of the DDR pads so I can play at home. That would be sweet. I have probably spent enough on the arcade version to buy a million of the pads. Crap. 5:11. Must survive the abyss of boredom that is Speech 1.

OSX 0

Holy shit! Mac OS X is shipping April 29th! Cool! I wonder when it will be pre-loaded on the computers. Shit, I need to get ready to leave. Something is wrong with my alarm clock, either I’m shutting it off in my sleep or it’s just not going off. Anyway, I should go.

cool day 0

After I got off work (which pissed me off, but I don’t care to blog about it), I went to the college and there were Casey and Joe. We were all “Crap, we have to do our Econ tests” so I drove Casey to Castle Rock to get her school ID so we could get her CR ID so she could take the test. We watched the first half of the class we’d missed, then took the test. I think I did all right. After that we went to this strange antique store on Northcrest. They had this sexy antique red velvet sofa…omg it was so cool. And they had a transistor radio. Then we went to the Cinemas to play some hardcore DDR. We totally kicked these preppie freaks’ asses. We even kicked ass at Butterfly. Woot. Samantha and Steve and Tawna were there playing as well.

We got bored with that and went to Pebble Beach and climbed the big rock with the little island of shrubbery and grass at the top. It was beautiful. We saw all these blue jellyfish that had washed up–they really reeked. After we got back to the car we were hungry so we went to Jack in the Box and got curly fries and strawberry soda, then we went to Josh’s house to fix up some “fiesta rice” as I call it. Joe kept trying to get the wireless router to work, and Casey called her boyfriend. I guess they’re having problems. But anyway, while we were there Ben called and said he was off work and so I was all “Cool, we’re going to Gasquet to drop Casey off, want to come along?” and he was all “Sure!”

He arrived and we peeled Joe off the computer and we drove to Gasquet. It was pretty fun. After we got there, they all smoked a bit, but I didn’t, and then we said our goodbyes and me, Joe, and Ben headed back to Crescent Shitty. Ben hooked up the XBox and started playing Halo 2, and me and Joe made tortellini. Right about then Josh came home and we made a plate of tortillini for him too. We hung out there for a while, eventually getting the wireless router to work (it took forever). Then Selena came over and we kinda left after showing them the incredibly disturbing music video for Daft Punk’s “Technologic.” Me and Joe did a lap around the nature trail and then said our goodbyes. It was cool. Josh and Selena and everyone were going to watch a movie, but we skipped out early. I had to get some freaking sleep.

Well, I’ve accomplished two of the seven things I needed to do this week, but I have to add more to the list:

Write a page about the girl’s story

Watch the movie Susan lent me

Work on Matt’s website

get cleaning supplies for bathroom (the drain is plugged and I’ve started taking really short showers to somehow compensate)

Make website for Kelly’s photography.

Shit. I need to get some sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a bastard. I need to get a bunch of schoolwork/other people work done (I hate other people!).

But omg, I realized that after next month I’ll totally be able to afford my PowerBook with a big safety margin. W00t! And OS X is slated to ship in July! Cool! I couldn’t be happier.

slept in 0

I stayed up until 3 a.m. working on my setting excercise and I guess I forgot to set my alarm. I’m so late it’s not even funny. I’d have to get there in four minutes or so to be on time. This does not bode well for the rest of the week. I guess I should start getting ready to go.

multitasking 1

I’m receiving files to build my cousin a portfolio website, trying to figure out what excercise I’m going to do for creative writing, building Matt from work’s website, chatting with my cousin, chatting with Naiya, and listening to music. OVERLOAD IS IMMINENT. But it’s only because I’m running out RAM. My slick launcher bar at the bottom of the screen sucks up a big chunk of it, and I realized earlier today that I was running Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Musicmatch, Trillian, Bearshare, two instances of Firefox and Firebird (my e-mail client). I think that instead of a cell phone, I need a second stick of RAM.

By the way, I updated my portfolio with two more pics. Check ‘em out.

day of work 0

> Massive Attack – Antistar

I partied all week/weekend, so today is the day that I have to get all my schoolwork done. I left my computer on all night to download some music and videos and stupid Trillian didn’t set me as “away.” That was lame. Well, I need to make a list of the things I have to do today so I don’t forget:

Do setting exercise for Creative Writing

Write a little page thingy about that girl’s story

Attempt to rewrite my story

Do character chart

For tomorrow:

get cleaning supplies for bathroom

take Econ test

Good. I really only have to do two of those things today, but I never have time to do schoolwork during the week so I might as well do the other crap too. I went into town to get a pizza (for my dad), and I had to stop at the theatre and play a round of DDR. I didn’t do so well, mostly because my calves hurt like hell (I guess they haven’t finished rebuilding or whatever). I did “Operator” and did well and died on “Satyran.” Oh well. My muscles aren’t connected with my skill level. I must cut the DDR out for at least a few more days so they can heal or rebuild or whatever the hell they do. Yay, can’t wait to eat pizza! I got the wrong size (a large instead of a family size) so I doubt there will be much to go around. It doesn’t matter though, I had a big chunk of leftover meat loaf this morning. Okay, I should go into the living room and pretend to be sociable while I’m really salivating over the pizza in the oven.

It’s so late, but I had so much fun today. Ben came over and I burned him a CD of all sorts of dope stuff, like the dock that I’ve used to replace my taskbar (a la OS X), and a bunch more crap. Anyway, after that we drove into town and got some food at Jack in the Box (I just got a “Diet Coke extra large”) and then we went to the theatre. I was itching to play some DDR, but they were just getting ready to leave (it was around midnight). Josh had picked this night of all nights to break up with that bimbo Kayla, so he was busy until like 4 a.m.

But we didn’t know it would take that long at the time, so me and Ben went to Video and More to waste time bullshitting with Charley, and Ben bought Shawn of the Dead. After that we went to Pebble Beach and hung out, Ben totally got his shoes wet when this wave came in, it sucked. My superior $30 shoes repelled the water so I was happy. After we’d had our fill of the beach, we went over to the college and walked the nature trail in the dark (the coolest thing ever).

After that we went over to the high school track and there was a shitload of hurdles all out and ready, so we amused ourselves jumping them. Ben saw like three shooting stars so we laid down on our backs and watched for them while we talked. We ended up only seeing like one more though. We called Josh, and he wasn’t done dispensing with the cunt, so we drifted into the Drift office (I had to) and I meant to just check the Drift e-mail but we ended up doing MySpace, crusing profiles, and watching music videos until like 4 a.m. I had this desperate need to do some art so I made a photo out of some photos from the last CR Art Auction. It’s on my portfolio page. I took some pics of the beach and Ben today, I’ll probably end up working one or two of those up too before the night is over. Omg, I downloaded this sweet docklet for ObjectDock that is a magic 8 ball, it’s so freaking sweet. I can’t wait to show off my cool customized dock. But anyway, I should probably get to the Photoshopping and the looking at of pornography before it’s five. I’m signing off.

what an imbecile 0

I’m trying to do video voice chat with my mom, and she is SOOOO inept. Right now she’s changing her state on MSN from “busy” to “online” a million times. I have no idea why. I’m going to block her right now. It doesn’t work, it still shows the little popup windows. I deleted her. God she’s so fucking dumb. Finally she gets it to work. God.

Hmm, she showed me the box that our dog Rose’s ashes are in. Cool.

Then me and my dad and his girlfriend all went out to eat. It was cool. I drove, for some strange reason. Now I’m copying Come Undone for Ben. I should have left to go pick him up ages ago, but I got involved in the Internet. I’ve been deprived so long! I should go pick him up now.

But omg! Shaina totally found me on MySpace. Woot. Okay, must leave.

home again 0

Josh apologized for being rude while I was packing. That was cool. I have all my crap home and my computer all set up again. It’s a remarkably agile machine. I’m thinking of getting a clear UV reactive case. It wouldn’t cost too much and it would make it much much cooler. I might even be able to get a case that’s much smaller (perhaps).

It looks like I’m stuck with my baby for a while, better intensify the sexiness of it. It’s only $79.95. Not bad. While it won’t make my computer portable, it’ll make it much less heavy than my current gloss black metallic monstrosity. But I love it so! Hmm. I dunno. I’m tired. I think I’m going to watch that movie with the hot guys again. Maybe. Or maybe I’ll go to sleep. I dunno. I’m a bit out of whack from all my lack of sleep and living away from home. I should get to bed. Ben wants to hang out tomorrow, it should be fun. We should watch The Living End. That would be cool. Okay, time to hit the hay.
