I’m having a marginally better day, this morning I ordered the fender and headlight for my car, we just need a bumper and to fix the mirrors. My rearview has a big crack in it and my driver’s side mirror is all shattered.
I simply must leave this town. I also need to write my big psych essay, my big cinema essay, and my titanic biology paper.
I’ve been at the plant all afternoon…this one paper ran late, so I’m late to work. I guess I should be kind of stressed about it, but there’s really nothing I can do, so why worry. Nobody told me I’d be here this late, and it wasn’t my fault they were late.
I’ve been reading tech news/blogs/columns all day long (while I wait) and my brain is exploding with the current developments in technology.
So much that I can’t read any more of it. I also devoured this issue of Photoshop User that was lying around here and read the most interesting article on color space conversion (read RGB -> CMYK). I learned that many colors representable in the RGB color space aren’t even reproducible in CMYK. I wish I was a photographer or illustrator sometimes, so I could fool around with Photoshop/Illustrator on a G5 and play with an expensive camera.
The pressmen here listen to Limp Bizkit like all day long…
I’m glad I brought my iPod.
It’s actually sunny today…if I had a car I would maybe invite a friend to the river, but I don’t. I have a mildly driveable wreck. (i.e. it could get you out of civilization in the event of a zombie attack, but it would be pulled over by a cop in ten seconds on the freeway)
I need to find a job in Sacramento. I need to find out what it’s going to entail to transfer to ARC. But right now I get to hurry up and wait for the B-section to print so I can leave for job number two.
PS: Happy b-day Amanda!
It was also Jon’s birthday yesterday…he’s probably waking up around now in a pool of vomit and semen.
Ah, existence.
