2 Gigabytes of 667 Megahertz Dual Data Rate 2 Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory
So… yeah.
My stick of memory showed up in the mail today.
And… it is extremely sexy.
Two. Gigabytes.
In layman’s terms, that’s
two billion.
one hundred forty seven million
four hundred and eighty-three thousand
six hundred and forty-eight little ones and zeros.
At my command.
It sort of makes you hard thinking about it…
…well it does to me!
I hope that this will allow me to blog more often, as my computer won’t freeze up when I open my virtual machine to do voice-recognition.
Oddly enough, when I wait so long for a medium to express myself, I don’t really have a lot to say. The breakup with Adrian was… long-overdue, but I was devoted to the idea that I wasn’t a fool, which is usually hard for people to debunk.
Today I’m obsessed with this New Young Pony Club song called “Ice Cream,” that makes all these adorable double entendres about delicious treats :)
I also just discovered this wonderful French band called Vive la Fête (Long Live the Party). They have a really great sense of rhythm and melody. I’m trying to ignore the fact that the lead singer looks almost exactly as I imagine Lacey to look in about ten years. Also, the fact that the lyrics aren’t in English means I can listen to it while I’m doing editing at work.
I don’t know… towards the end me and Adrian were listening to exactly the same music, and I need to branch out, although that hasn’t gone quite well in the past.
School has been… how shall I say… time-consuming and uninteresting, so far. If not for the fact that Christen and I have a class together, I would be totally bored with school.
Me and Christen were having a wonderful time going to True Love the last few weeks, but it seems to have run stale. The last time we were there the server was really rude and told me the grill was closed when it wasn’t… and it’s the same crowd night after night. However, we did meet this really cool Spanish chick named Annie through Nick, a friend of Christen’s.
A night or two ago we rendezvoused with her at the cafe and we were going to play this Sherlock Holmes board game, but she also brought a Ouija board, which told us some really weird things. It told me not to go to the East (my mother and I are planning a vacation, she is on the East Coast). It was a really weird experience, but I am a complete atheist and don’t really believe in anything like that. It’s an amusing possibility, and that’s it. Still, and provided a wonderful night of fun and games.
Annie, the friend that we met there, had just lost her job that day so she wasn’t in a wonderful mood to begin with but I hope to that we helped her feel better with our game and conversation. We drove her home that night, and she lives in this adorable cottage in West Sacramento. She said that we should come over for a movie night, and I definitely want to.
Tonight I bought my ticket for Coachella!!!!
Me and Christen are going to go and see Bjork and Interpol and all the other artists that are going to be there on the first day of the festival. I would LOVE to see all the bands that are going to be there the other two days, but I just don’t have $250 right now.
I’m seriously going to have an orgasm… like 20 orgasms. INTERPOL! BJORK! EEK!
Okay, I’m done.
So… I got my motorcycle license today.
There were a million people in line at the DMV, but I got to just bypass the line and go straight to the window where they process licenses. I couldn’t believe it, I was in and out of the DMV in like 10 minutes….it was so surreal.
My bed is piled up with stuff… mostly from when I looted my closet for computer operating tools. I need to clear it off, clean the bathroom (something I’ve been putting off for like weeks) and do two sections of math homework. I wonder if I have to post on that retarded bulletin board for my psychology class. I have totally been spacing that.
But, um, I think I’m totally going to get a Vespa tomorrow. Yay for me!
About the error that is displayed in the sidebar… I really don’t have a clue how to fix it. My template is extremely customized, so that might be the culprit. I need to set aside a day to fix it. Maybe this Sunday. Sunday is a good day for tech projects.
I miss you all!

and guess what…..
PEACHES TOO!!
We miss you too.
And the old blog style. Though this one does make commenting easier, I’ll give you that.
