Well, all didn’t quite go completely as planned…
I got all dolled up and Christen picked me up at my house, but when we parked Christen’s ongoing migraine (for weeks now) intensified to the point where she was about to vomit. I felt SO sorry for her…I wish it was like in the sci-fi movies where you could send your life-force to heal others.
We were supposed to rendezvous with John and his boyfriend, and they joined us in the parking lot. They offered to give me a ride home after the club, but Christen looked/felt terrible and I couldn’t just abandon her in that state.
I wanted to drive her home, but I can’t drive stick (this is going to be my downfall in some zombie-inspired plot twist in my life), but we made it back okay. I really wanted to party with John and what’s-his-face, but Club 21 happens every day…the chance to possibly save a friend from an untimely death — much more important.
So I’m at Kelly’s house. This is a rather fortunate turn of events because I have this take-home math test that I’m supposed to do for tomorrow.
I left work two and a half hours before my class today, and guess what. I didn’t make it. Not even close. I LOATHE public transit. I’m going to have to drop. There is just no way. Well, I’m going to make some pasta and do my retarded test, and maybe watch some Star Trek with subtitles on (I don’t want Christen’s headache to get any worse). She’s in her bed now.
Well, I should get started. I can’t wait to drive to the club in my shiny new Vespa!
Oh yeah, I might take out a $4,000 loan to get it. Think it’s a good/bad idea? These days everything seems like a bad idea. I’m glad I didn’t go to the club. I would have done things I would have regretted.
