I went to the Vespa dealership today.
They were so incredibly sexy. Check out pictures here! They taught me how to ride one, and it was so fun! I went with Christen and she was totally into getting one too, she even rode one! I wish I would have had my camera with me, but it was in the car. So, basically I was able to see (even ride!) the mode of conveyance of my dreams but I got denied on every credit application I filled out.
I had $2,000 to put down, and I was going to borrow 4,000… and I could have gotten in the cheaper one that will work and only have to borrow $2,000, but no company would do it. It was very disappointing, to say the least. I guess I should call my dad and see if he’ll send me more money. I’m going to have to lie to him about it being for a car though, and I don’t want to do that. Maybe I’ll ask him to cosign on a loan. But if I do that, it’s going to be obvious that I’m not getting a car.
So basically, I’m fucked.
And nothing has changed at all.
I’ve been talking with Kevin a lot today. I guess he just got out of jail for dealing pot, and he’s living in a music studio in Oakland. I really want to drive over there and visit, but it’s not practical as of yet.
I need to call my dad and beg for cash.
I can NOT stop thinking about those sexy Vespas.
Oh my GAWD I want one!

Yeah, scooters are sweet in the city. I wouldnt mind getting a motorcycle now that I’m down here, but it’s not cost effective at the moment. I hope you get something worked out soon, it sucks not having wheels.
Does Kevin have a phone now? My only means of contacting him have been IM and MySpace. That’s good he’s out now, that bit of info hadn’t filtered down to me yet.
ugg! I hate you for showing me the light of the Vespa! the list is getting longer…
The Vespas look neat. Are Vespas made by Honda, or are they their own company?
Also, is this the Kevin you’re talking about, or are you talking about the Kevin you met at our get-together?
Vespas are NOT made by Honda. Vespas were first made in the 40s in Italy by this guy named Piaggio, and they are still manufactured by Piaggio, Inc.
Also, I’m talking about the Kevin mentioned on my wiki.
