time out from the world

Yesterday was hectic. Work, then school. However, I did discover this organic food co-op right near my work that I picked up a delicious breakfast at for only like $3.

My class went well, she passed out a sheet of all the different positions we’ve been doing, so I’ll actually be able to practice at home. I keep losing my balance during the balance poses, and I need to work on that.

After class I went over to Christen’s and we cleaned up her room a bit, hooked up her TV, and watched The City of Lost Children. It’s one of my favorites, it was her first time seeing it. She liked it.

I was IMing Drew before we started the movie and he said that he’d just recently seen it. I just love those directors, Marc Caro and Jean-Pierre Jeunet. We also talked about some more serious things, which was good. I was thinking about him all day, for some odd reason. It wouldn’t be completely conscious, just in the back of my mind I’d see his face and it would make me smile.

I really expected him to blow me off (I have no self-esteem) but we actually started talking about possibly starting a relationship…which I’m excited about. There are some practical hurdles though (as neither of us have our own place).

I’m still at Christen’s house, she’s getting ready for work, and I should be getting ready to drive back to my house, but I’m still kind of tired. We did get up at like 11 a.m. (very early for me).

Well, I should get going.
